The pizza and vibes were great!! They are sassy and busy so don’t ask for anything you don’t need and be ready to order haha we’ll be back but smaller groups are better. There was only one table for a 7 top. Alex Sentell The food was outstanding. I ordered a 12-inch thin crust pizza for $13, which was a great value. Having been away from New York for the past four years due to military service, I’ve always held New York pizza as the gold standard—it’s simply the best. One of the staff mentioned this was Chicago-style pizza, specifically from Louie’s, and I must admit, it was exceptional. Chicago and New Yorkers share a reputation for being tough and direct, qualities I admire. In contrast, Texans often come across as overly sensitive and thin-skinned, with a friendliness that feels superficial to Northerners like myself. This was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The cheese and crust were excellent, and the service was fast and efficient. Don’t be deterred by the one-star reviews—they likely come from competitors offering subpar pizza. Louie’s delivers a truly outstanding experience. Bruce Viliamor Best pizza in Dallas. We drive 1.5 hours to come here. Rob H. Awesome little downtown Chicago Tavern. Try the clams! As a Dallasite and native North Texas I appreciate Louie's a lot. As if the restaurant and the food is a little slice of Chicago in the city. Highly recommended. Thomas The pizza? Wow. Really good. The staff is not rude, but they aren't overly friendly either. It's atmosphere is more like a bar than a restaurant, and it's nothing fancy. The parking is absolutely terrible. Nothing really close, and it's a sketch neighborhood. With all that said? The pizza is worth it. Robert Wiegand
