Established in 1987 by local legendary bar master Louis Canelakes, Louie’s has been the hippest secret on Henderson since long before it became fashionable. First as a renowned cocktail hang for the media crowd, before long Louie’s became the home of Dallas’ favorite thin crust pizza, salads, soups, steaks, seafood, pasta, and sandwiches.
As seen on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Louie’s is an institution with a long history and as long a list of local awards. Head pizzaman Chris Canelakes, brother of the late Louis, is behind the delicious Chicago-cut thin crust pizza. The dough recipe is a highly guarded secret, the cheeses are real, the toppings heaped high; even the pizza sauce is made in house. All dishes from our kitchen are made with only the freshest ingredients and a healthy appetite in mind. As such, gluten free crust is also available.
The atmosphere is pure Chicago tavern, right down to the wide selection of beers and fabulous martinis.
